Its seems that pop music now is AWFUL!!!! when the dance pop music first started coming out in 2009/2010 i liked it a lot, but now its almost 2012 and all this dance pop sounds excatly the same and is now getting old. about 1% of it is good and 99% is just terrible. I have to admit the j lo on the floor was an amazing song, but the rest of her album is GARBAGE. now all radio stations play one bad dance pop song after another like katy perry ET and TGIF, Lady gaga judas born this way, taio cruz hangover, flo rida ,selena gomez like a love song, justin biber, david guetta (where my girls at). There are just really less people like us who understand what real music is.



Try to listen to The Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin. etc.



And compare the lyrics of today's songs from theirs.



It's very different because back then you have to have talent to be a musician and back then there is no autotune.



While today artist like J.B., K.P., L. G., etc. that have no talent can be musicians easily because of autotune and stuff.



Well I like pop too but real pop artist like Bee Gees, Michael Jackson, etc.



I like rap too but real rapper only like 2Pac, Biggie, Nas, Rakim, Eminem, etc.



So that proves that im not being biased.
All im gonna say is from all the people you listed, Lady Gaga by far is the most talented. She writes her own songs, Co-produces them, can sing and dance live and shes entertaining.com LEGENDARY singer like Tony Bennett and Elton John praised her and always talk about how talented she is. You're right that most of the pop songs out today sound mostly the same, but I have to say that Selena's songs aren't bad at all. Her songs are fun, upbeat and with messages.

Maybe your taste has changed. Try listening to different music.
because it is a safe, tried-and-true formula, and it still sells. it will end when people stop buying

you should just get a life, just because you dislike modern op music, doesn't mean you need to complain because not everyone else thinks that. although some of the music isn't so good, that doesn't mean the celebrities listed above aren't capeable of such things. Lady gaga sold out Madison Square Garden and beat insecurity, if all this pop music is so "bad" then howcome they are so popular?
