In fact, from 2000-2011, there have been over 120 concept albums released (I have 108 of them). That's more than the number of concept albums released from 1959-1979 (of which I have 49 and just a few over 60 were released - as far as I'm aware).



So is the concept album really dead? Please explain.Why do some people say that the concept album is "dead"?
