Why does every christian think secular artists have given their life to the devil?

I dont know, but i was watching the lady gaga video: born this way... by the way i love this song. Ok so we were watching it me and my sister and she said, " she probably gave her life to the devil" that wasnt exactly it but it was what she was going for.. my mom came and said she probably did. My mom told me that, "if they want to get famous, how do you think they got there. They had to do a pact so their album could sell". I got really hurt and offended, and i felt they where judging just becuz Gaga is a different artist. I told them not all of them are the same and you can't just sterotype just because other artists have made a pact with the devil..plus my parents and my sister are christian i am too...and then they where like you don't know who God is and stuff and more crap.. i don't know... i know that everyone might not be bad but might not be good either... what do you think? Why does every christian think secular artists have given their life to the devil?
The idea that these people made a pact with the devil is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I am a Christian too. These people didn't make pacts with the devil, they got where they are because theyare talented and they say what most of the world wants to hear people say. What I mean about that is that people don't want people to say God is over them even though He is. They want to rebel against him whether intentional or not. Everyone does, it's in our sin nature. And everyone has that. These artists are not the best people because of they're actions, not because they sold themselves to the devil. This is totally ridiculous. Most of them don't even believe in a devil, so how would they have? They didn't sell themselves to the devil or make a pact with him, but they are not good role models either. Why does every christian think secular artists have given their life to the devil?
i think your absolutely right they didnt make a pact with the devil so their music could sell in my opinion a lot of christians overreact to this sort of stuff just because its secular does not mean thats its bad a lot of non christian music can have good meanings to it and honestly who are we to judge these people and what we do its not like we are perfectWhy does every christian think secular artists have given their life to the devil?
i dont know but you shouldnt stereotype christians either, asking "why does every christian..."

you're contradicting yourself .
Manly Gaga didn't give his life to the devil. He is the devil!
