Why is my 2003 Ford Taurus SE Wagon dying when I come to a stop in the drive position?

I just purchased a 2003 Ford Taurus SE wagon and it needed a little work (starter, battery simple small things) Now.. When coming to a stop sign or being stuck in traffic and coming to a stop on the freeway, my car is okay for a minute, then it starts to shake and die! What is it?Why is my 2003 Ford Taurus SE Wagon dying when I come to a stop in the drive position?Maybe a vacuum leak? The people that did the small things may have left a line loose. Also get the codes scanned to see what might be causing this. Why is my 2003 Ford Taurus SE Wagon dying when I come to a stop in the drive position?dirty fuel systemWhy is my 2003 Ford Taurus SE Wagon dying when I come to a stop in the drive position?try a new fuel filter first and that dont work then have the fuel pressure checked could be a weak fuel pump. Also fun some sea foam in the gas to clean up the injectors, until you get it fixed when you have to sit in traffic put the car in neutral so it wont die.Why is my 2003 Ford Taurus SE Wagon dying when I come to a stop in the drive position?
If you can keep it running with a little throttle , I'd suspect the Idle Air Control, it is located directly on top of the throttle boy/where the plastic hose from the air cleaner hooks on. 3.0 engines
