How do you remove the stock radio from an '06 Ford Explorer?

I just recently bought an iPod adapter for my '06 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition. I need to pull out the stock 6 CD changer radio so I can plug in the adapter and set it into the back of it. Does anyone how to get the radio out without tearing up the car?

p.s. if anyone has tips on installing these kind of adapters that'd be great. it's a brandmotion that plugs into the auxiliary satellite input.

Thank you for any help! How do you remove the stock radio from an '06 Ford Explorer?the trim around the radio just pops off. youll need either a panel removal tool or a wide flat screw driver might work. put a strip of tape around the tool to help avoid scratches, start from the top and pry it out. then four 7mm bolts hold the radio in.How do you remove the stock radio from an '06 Ford Explorer?you take it to a mechanic or risk burning up your computer with the anti theft system being shorted out...but if you got more money then brains then have at it!!!How do you remove the stock radio from an '06 Ford Explorer?a audio shop will do this for like $20
