BQ: These are ordered by the date they were released, making it a history of great concept albums. What other albums should be added to the list? (NO MCR!)

BQ: You don't have "Hair"!

BQ2: PInk Floyd - The Dark Side of The MoonR%26amp;P: Which of these concept albums, rock operas, and musicals do you like?
You certainly did your work!

I like everything up to ABC - The Lexicon of Love, then it gets sporadic!

BA - Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick

BA2: Dark Side of the Moon
Ziggy Stardust

2112

DSOTM

And maybe The Fame + The Fame Monster (because they're soooo dance-able)
Operation Mindcrime and The Crimson Idol

BQ: Streets by Savatage

BQ2: The Crimson Idol
alice cooper,styx, queen,the who,eagles,pink floyd
There are so many... Can I just say I like a significant amount of them? I'm sorry, I just don't have the time to go through all of them
BA1 - nothing that i can think of.

BA2 - the unforgiving, within temptation.
The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars 鈥?David Bowie is the best. And many of these aren't even concept albums.

BQ: No Neutral Milk Hotel?
BQ2: The Suburbs even though it was already turned into a short film.
"Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" ~ The Beatles

"The Dark Side of the Moon" ~ Pink Floyd

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" {film soundtrack}

BQ: "Wish You Were Here" ~ Pink Floyd

"Thick As a Brick" ~ Jethro Tull

"War Child" ~ Jethro Tull
I might not agree that some of those choices ("Desperado", "Queen II") really qualify as concept albums or rock operas... However, if you want to stretch the idea to include everything, then I would try to find room for the very first concept album ever, "Satan is Real" by the Louvin Brothers (1959), as well as the first "rock opera" ever. "S.F. Sorrow" by the Pretty Things (1968)

I'm not a big fan of concept albums to tell you the truth, and even less of a fan of movies that are based on them... Maybe I'd watch "Blows Against The Empire" by Paul Kantner/Jefferson Starship-- that one won a Hugo award for Science Fiction writing...
