Well, out of your list, Epica's "Design Your Universe" is my favorite, but this is gthe first I have heard it referred to as a concept album..... and it was released in October 2009, not 2010 (it was my fave album of 2009)



Out of the 2010 concept albums, it is hands down "the Wicked Symphony" by Avantasia. Power Prog meets Arena Rock with a stable of top teir guest vocalists. I didn't care as much for "Angel of Babylon" for some reason, though. Just not as Epic sounding, IMO.



Bq: this decade? ...no. last decade? "The 1rst Capter" by Circus Maximus is one of the best progressive Metal concept albums I have ever heard. For non-concept, "Redemption at the Puritans Hand" by Primordial is tied as my fave album of this year.



Bq2: a lot. Imaginarium. Metallica w/ Lou Reed. The new Metallica. New Iron maiden.



Bq3: imaginarium, by far. I love Nightwish.
