Do you think artist naming their fans stupid?

When Lady Gaga calls her fans "Little Monsters" she says it like she means it, %26amp; you know she loved her fans.

But when other people, like Demi Lovato or Rihanna (even tho I love both Demi %26amp; Rihanna) and jonas brothers, justin bieber, glee etc. they just sound desperate.



Ex:

Lady Gaga "I F*CKING LOVE YOU LITTLE MONSTERS, YOU WERE BORN THIS WAY"

some people can only pull it off like Lady gaga and nicki Minaj (barbies) and some cant like the ones u listed (if katy perry tried she would sound stupid expecially since she always TRIES to outshine lady gaga resulting in EPIC fails)
I don't find it weird at all. I actually really like it. With some celebrities you feel like they don't care for fans but when Gaga or Demi etc. Call you a nickname... You respect them more. I'm a little monster, Navy-in, Lovatic and Katy Kat myself.Do you think artist naming their fans stupid?
Actually I think it stems more out of the Fans calling themselves that then the Artist catching on and using it as well to show appreciation, I think its kind of cool
