Why does Lady GaGa use auto tune, and why does she have so many haters?

i love her anyway, whatever she sings, but in the first 2 albums she uses auto tune and i dont know why, i know its in and everything and it popular, but thing is she doesnt need, it on born this way (album) there is very little auto tune, her voice is beautiful, amazing, strong. also i went to she her live and its so good. like in judas live, there is obv auto tune but you can tell she is doing a little bit of the accent herself. and why does she have so many haters, i understand the more popular you get the more haters you get but there seems to be loads, is it because she is different and they are scared of change or just dont like there music ?

She uses auto tune to get a certain sound that she wants to be known for. She has proven she can sing, so she uses auto tune to acheive a certain effect. And as for the haters, every star will always have them. Lady Gaga, however, does many things outside of the box (waaay outside the box) and some people just don't always agree with her decisions. Others may not like her music. Hope that helps!

Auto-tune is basically a software to make the sure the voice is pitched correctly.

Lady gaga might have a great voice, but by no means does she have great control over that voice.

for that reason, to avoid unkindly flaws in her voice, auto tune is used.

It's been proven that she takes her style from other past artists, she's more loved for her outfits than she is her music. Any good artist doesn't rely on aesthetics to be a success. I like some of her songs but i'm not a major fan, she seems to be part of the social climate we're in. Where it's all about looks, sex and being popular. And in the end it isn't right.

Yeah I used to like her work but now it sounds way too generic,and auto tunish. I don't hate lady gaga I just think shes a weirdo,and has this provocatively sinful way about her. She is a disaster pretty much,and her music has taken a turn for the worse. She went from good to boring. I guess lady gaga uses so much auto tune because she is a mainstream singer and does what every corporate tells her to do,and because all of her fans seem to love her talentless music. I'm really just so sick of her I used to love her now I'm just so over her,and her music. She is so predictably bizarre she just dresses %26amp; sings how she does to attract attention whether it's controversial or not. I guess I just think shes too overrated now and that's so bad because artist like Jamiroquai,India Arie,%26amp; Jack Johnson are too underrated and deserve some of the attention she's hogging up.
