Do LBGT people get overly defensive about Lady Gaga?

Reviews came out about LGG most recent single Judas off her not so critically acclaimed album Born this way. And critics talk about how its disjointed, unpleasant and more about her brand than being music. Now if you read message boards, it seems her fans believe this is all an attack by the small minded catholics and nothing to do with a bad song or her ripping off madonna in born this way( She also ripped off Ace of Base, Listen to Alejandro and tell me you don't hear i saw the sign) I mean apparently people think all music critics are raging catholics out to get her (one person even blamed catholics for AIDS......yes the don't have sex until your married people are responsible for AIDS) It seems you cant criticize this woman for anything without people calling you a homophobe. Aren't some of her fans taking the adoration alittle to far? No one is above criticismDo LBGT people get overly defensive about Lady Gaga?
No, I'm one of those people saying she's a crap musician.
I'm a Transsexual/ Transgender woman and I can say that I find her whole "celebrity/ image" a SHAM and sad result of her puppet strings aka manager, record producers,label %26amp; publicist. I don't believe most of the dribble that comes out of her in interviews or that she ever bullied.

You're right, no one is above criticism, and everyone has the right to an opinion. But sometimes people DO take it to far, and act as if they KNOW lady gaga's intentions and KNOW her personally, which makes them look stupid. And people who get over defensive about someone criticizing her album also make themselves look stupid. If you like her song YOU LIKE IT, if you don't YOU DON'T, I don't see how arguing about it will suddenly make you like it. -people- -have- -opinions-
I agree with you 50%.... I agree with you about "no one is above criticism", but I'm LGBT and I don't defend GaGa, that's just a sterotype that every gay dude loves her, I don't. She has a view good songs, Just Dance was great, Pokerface was great, Bad Romance WAS EPIC the rest are ok, my favorite song of hers is "I LIKE IT ROUGH" :P

Not all LBGT like Lady Gaga. That's a stereotype. I certainly don't fawn over her nor listen to her songs.
I don't really care nor do I follow what critics say about her or those who defend her,

dear lord, yes. though i don't think she has any Bad intentions, i do wish i'd thought of trying to flatter gay people a few times in a song and see how many people would suddenly be willing to be caught on fire for me. it's Amazing how much one song and a few good words in a few interviews can completely manipulate people.

she's just a musician. this is like Kurt Cobain all over again. i was pretty little when that whole ordeal went down, but i remember having to hear about how he was 100% perfect and could not have killed himself, as if they knew him like he was their best friend, and as if some of his music and actions didn't Clearly indicate he was depressed. he was an amazing musician and all, but No one is perfect.

i just think the situation is somewhat similar, with people being obsessed and believing someone is perfect though they don't even know the person. when someone comes along and says that person isn't perfect for the following reasons, ..., they go crazy and defend them. obviously she and Cobain aren't Nearly alike, i just know no musicians similar to her to compare her to. %26gt;.%26lt;

well first off she appeared in mid-air no one really knows where she comes from i dont even think she has a childhood ..shes a F***** alien she just as weird as michael jackson(as a person) cause michael was the man in my opinion ,her music is phenomenal she cant sing though shes creepy and very weird this sure beats madonna but not in a good way but madonnas cool, i dont know how to answer this question but it all comes down to shes weird..thats all i wanted to say.
