Just wondering how hard it is to change the breaks on a ford laser. I think that they are drum brakes. Someone said it wasn't very difficult.

but i would say if you take a pic, before you start removing the springs, and your a smart lady :) - you will be able to get it back, just remember they are adjustable, so if they dont fit back in, move the little moon shaped bit/cam with the teeth on to its other extremity....
front are easier, as long as you have the right tool, which might be a 9ml hex, which im guessing you wont have, non standard size, cant remmember if u need for back
when doing front remember to compress the POT before you refit. this means get the cup bit with the tube on, and squeeze it with all your might, might have to stand on it if ure little.... its a cup within a cup, kind thing, break fluid between the cups.. :)How hard is it to change the rear brakes on a ford laser?Go here and fill out the make, model and year. Then decide for yourself. If you have a good jack and the proper tools, it isn't that hard to do. You may have to take the drums to a shop and have them turned, but that shouldn't cost much. You can usually find out about turning the drums from the place you buy the linings.

i have a 2001 ford focus that i recently change the oil, spark plug, cables, and plus i flush the transmission. My car has 91,000 miles only and some people say it can be the idle or the timing belt. my car stall when im stuck in traffic and sometime in stoplight, but it turn right back on. what can be the problem.Why does my 2001 ford focus stall when it at stoplight and slow traffic?If the check engine light is not on, then it is not one of the monitored sensors. Many of the early Focus models had fuel pump problems. That would be my suspicion.
BTW, since you're approaching 100,000 miles, you should have the timing belt replaced soon. Around $200, depending on the labor rate in your area.

About 3 months I had a new engine put into my 98 ford escort. Since then it's been sputtering on and off while accelerating, before it would only sputter in the morning when I first started driving. But today it sputter on and off all day, especially when accelerating and occasionally at stop lights. I'm wondering if it just needs a tune up or if its the fuel pump. Why do you want a new engine - rebuild what you have. If you have a 360 (aka 361), or a 390 - you could put in a built 390 or 428 easily. If you have a 302, a 331 or 347 stroker kit would provide a big boost in torque.

How does the 2010 Ford Focus handle in snow?
I'm looking at getting a new car with good gas mileage and I really like the new Ford Focus. However, I live in Michigan and we get a lot of snow. We are due for some hard winters and we probably will get really deep snow. I would rather not get stuck in the snow and have to push my car around. the one thing that would be tough is when the snow is deep and the roads aren't plowed. when it's like that you need ground clearance and you really won't find that with any cars!
you could consider an all wheel drive car...but it doesn't solve the ground clearance problem and cost considerably more than a normal 2 wheel drive car.
also, just a suggestion, before you buy new compare used.
the new car dealers ARE offering some nice prices to clear out inventory...but if you can buy the same thing with 20k miles on it you might find you can save alot!

take off the tire there should be 2 bolts on back of caliper take them off, remove old pad, collapse the caliper, put in new pads, slide caliper back onto rotor, put bolts back in, make sure you have the caliper back on before you compress the caliper on the other side

It isn't hard to change a set of pads.......1.Block the tires with a piece of wood(heavy and strong)2.Loosen the lug nuts(don't take them off yet)3.Open the hood.4.Remove the master cylinder cap and wrap a rag around it(for overflow)5.Jack the truck up and finish removing the lugnuts and take the tire off.6.Look behind the caliper(brake pad holder) to see what size the bolts or allen bolts are and get the right size wrench or socket.7.Remove the bolts and the caliper.8.remove the old brake pads and put the new ones in.9.Put the caliper back in and bolt it in. Do this for however many pads you are replacing,and DO NOT,I REPEAT DO NOT PUMP THE BRAKES until you have finished replacing the pads and put the master cylinder cap BACK ON! See how easy that was?!!

take off the tire there should be 2 bolts on back of caliper take them off, remove old pad, collapse the caliper, put in new pads, slide caliper back onto rotor, put bolts back in, make sure you have the caliper back on before you compress the caliper on the other side

How do I replace the serpentine belt on a '97 Ford Contour?
I have a '97 Ford Contour 4 cyl 2.0 with Air Conditioning. My Serpentine belt looks a little rusty and shows signs of wear, and sometimes I am hearing a squeaky noise, so i'm guessing most likely it's the serpentine belt. but they are on the front of the engine mounted right next to the radiator shroud.... and you must put the plug wires right for it to run right....

As for the possibility of Ford going into Chapter 11 bankruptcy...this would only effect warranty work. Ford car parts are relatively easy to come by. I'd suggest that you get either a lightly used 2005-2007 or get an extended warranty with a 3rd party.

Contrary to what your mom says, the car is very well built and if maintained will last a long time. I own 3 fords 2 of them are mustangs and the other is a ford truck. My Ford truck has almost 200,000 miles on it and still has all of it's original equipment, even the battery. One of my mustangs is a 2001 SVT Cobra and it also has all of its original equipment. Even though the Cobra is high performance it still gets over 25 mpg on the highway. Your 6 cylinder should get even better mileage than that. My other mustang is a 1968 fastback with a 500 hp nascar 427 side oiler engine. This is the version of the mustang made famous by Steve McQueen in the movie Bullit and later in the movie gone in 60 seconds. The car is a joy to drive and it also has lasted well over its 40+ year life. The only disadvantage to the car is that because it is rear wheel drive, it is a little harder to drive in snow and ice than a front wheel drive or all wheel drive car. Beside that, there is not too much downside and you will have a huge group of other owners and enthusiasts that appreciate your ride.

I just recently bought an iPod adapter for my '06 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition. I need to pull out the stock 6 CD changer radio so I can plug in the adapter and set it into the back of it. Does anyone how to get the radio out without tearing up the car?
p.s. if anyone has tips on installing these kind of adapters that'd be great. it's a brandmotion that plugs into the auxiliary satellite input.

If you can keep it running with a little throttle , I'd suspect the Idle Air Control, it is located directly on top of the throttle boy/where the plastic hose from the air cleaner hooks on. 3.0 engines

Is there a notorious problem with putting snow chains on the ford flex?
A friend of mine couldn't put chains on a ford flex rental, due to the flex's low fender clearance and risk of the chains possibly cutting the brake lines. I just bought a 1998 ford mustang and I wanted to know if they're reliable? It's automatic with 127000 mi.Are the 4th generation ford mustangs good cars?The one thing Ford did right was the Mustang, that is a sweet ride, they are nice reliable and they can be easily pimped out. The 1998 model is when ford put more thought in their engines, they were working towards effective cars. That particular model has the 210hp v6 or the 310hp v8 both engines are extreamly reliable, the v6 is used in the ford ranger and they have been know for getting up towards 300,000mile before they need to be overhuled i would say you have a few hours.Are the 4th generation ford mustangs good cars?Hope you got it from somebody that loved the car and kept it in good shape.
You didn't mention what motor was in it, weather you have the 4.6 Liter V8 or the 3.8 Liter V6. Both Motors are good for reliability especially for a Ford Motor. If the services were done to it, you should have a reliable vehicle for at least a few good years.
If it's the V6, Consumer Reports used to say it's probably not been raced like a GT V8 would have been, to that I say Hogwash. I have the 3.8 V6, and you have to tromp on it to get the thing to move in speedy traffic. I would say the V6 probably get's more "Real World" heavy throttle usage then the must faster GT.

This song is okay. I like the song, not as much as her others.锘?I still love lady gaga. It just wasn't what I've expected from the dancing tune or whatever you call it. I thought it was going to be some piano based song, something similar to brown eyes or speechless. This song is very different compared to her other songs. Can i revert all changes i've made on a iTunes song?
As part of Lady Gaga's countdown to her album's release i've downloaded Born This Way, Judas, Edge of Glory %26amp; Hair. Overtime i decided to organise to put all four tracks into a made-up album so they are all in one place. I no longer want this, and i want each song to be back into the original album, with the title, etc that it came with. Is there any way i can simply revert changes i've made to tracks on iTunes?Can i revert all changes i've made on a iTunes song?
Oh, just change the album names, to "Born this Way - Single", etc. And you can always just make a playlist for the 4 songs!

Is it just me or does she reinvent herself for every album she does. Like "The Fame" Lady Gaga would wear the blonde long hair with the straight bangs and have dance songs. Then came "The Fame Monster" Gaga with the blonde/yellow curly hair and the death obsession. Now shes the "Born This Way" Gaga with the black/blonde bob, dramatic eye make-up, and the mission for hope. Is it me or will she constantly be changing!??Two words...L A D Y G A G A.?
She keeps changing to stay on top. No matter where you go, you will here about Lady Gaga and that is her purpose. For everybody to know who she is. She is at a point in her career where it usually takes any other performer years to reach.

She IS constantly changing. It's because she's so awesome! I went to The Fame Monster concert in Pittsburgh and she was absolutely AMAZING. She changed her outfits for every song. She is just a fantastic musician, artist, performer, whatever you want to call her. :)

But if I had to, I'd like to nominate by write-in ballot one of the very first concept albums of all time; "Satan Is Real" by The Louvin Brothers (1960). Now that would be an interesting flick...

Will Zune have Lady GaGa's new album, Born This Way that come out tomorrow?
Zune usually updates itself with new albums on tuesday since thats when they usually come out, but Lady GaGa's is coming out on Monday. Now Zune will sometimes have stuff thats new on different days but before i wake up early tommarow only to be disappointed that Zune will not have it, does anybody know that they will? i know itunes will have. Zune has not even gotten her two latest singles (Edge of Glory and Hair) but they do have Born This Way and the Born This Way remixes along with Born This Way Country Road Remix and they also have Judas and the Judas remixes.

Born This Way definitely. I loved it. In my opinion, this had more variety. While Femme Fatale sounded the same. But I loved The Fame Monster more(Wish it wasn't an EP and had more songs!
The only songs I like from FF are Till The World Ends, Hold It Against Me, Criminal, and I Wanna Go. Though Criminal and TTWE gets annoying.

And for the people who say that pop is not real music, please go away. There are plenty of people who say your music is not real music too. I personally love all genres. I mostly listen to alternative rock but gaga and britney are my guilty pleasures.

Interestingly enough without Judas, Jesus would never have been martyred and then where would your religion be? Without his crucifixion you have nothing. Without Judas you have no crucifixion.

In the end, Hell must give up its captive spirits for the physical resurrection to occur, after which Hell will be destroyed (it, like Death, will be cast into the lake of fire, which is an archetype of destruction). In hell one can still have hope in Christ looking forward to that eventual redemption (he is our redeemer as well as our savior) in "times of refreshing" after we have "paid the uttermost farthing" of our punishments.
I think it is terrible! Lady gaga is not a faithful catholic! She swallowed a rosary in a music video, disgusting! She writes a song saying she loves a man who betrayed Jesus Christ, the son of God. Some people are saying its the devils work, im not shure about that, but i shure know that it is not right. It is very catchy and i tell myself to stop singing it every time i get it stuck in my head. I also think that she shouldn't be singing it especially on holy week. Jesus christ died on the cross for her and that's how she thanks him.. wow gaga. I know i am only 11 and have alot to learn, but i know that this is not right. Itotally agree with your opinon thank you, someone who doesnt worshio gaga
