Lady Gaga Born This Way album review, thoughts?

Dan Martin of NME Magazine heard the new up coming Lady Gaga album and he said this- The hype and Gaga's boundary-pushing preceding the album was criticized, but the album "passed... with flying colors" pushing musical boundaries to its "ultimate degree." OMFG I CANT WAIT. I wonder what she has in store for us. And he rated it 8/10Lady Gaga Born This Way album review, thoughts?
Incredible. This album blends so many genres perfectly. There are virtually no "bad" tracks. The highlights are Schiebe, Marry the Night, Hair, Heavy Metal Lover, The Edge of Glory, and You and I. This is her best album and the best album of the year by far.

You have to respect her for writing all of her songs and coproducing on this. Every cue and sound is engineered crisply to perfection. She could have worked with the same generic producers (Max Martin, Dr. Luke) as less talented pop stars today do (Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Kesha) and easily churned out unoriginal hits, but she's working with relatively unknown producers and really bringing the future of music.
I understand not wanting to put out the same album over and over. I get it. However.. I don't think that this album is going to really register with the same amount of people who warmed up to her first album and EP. Will it sell boat loads? Absolutely. Will I buy it? No. And I don't think I will be alone. Having the opportunity to listen to the streamed leak this evening, I am even less impressed than I was with the singles. I was hoping there would be some hidden gem, a few of them actually, that would entice me to purchase this record. Unfortunately, nothing on this album speaks to me. I'm pretty disappointed. Or maybe I've just grown out of her hype.Lady Gaga Born This Way album review, thoughts?
I rate the album a 6/10.

I think my favorite songs are Heavy Metal Lover and Bloody Mary. those 2 songs are amazing. the others are okay but nothing that makes me go "wow." this is not her best album, I personally think her debut album was better and even the ep was great.
the album is very good

it has leaked all over the net

i just downoaded it....but i will buy it next week

8/10.......heavy metal lover ...mind boggling songLady Gaga Born This Way album review, thoughts?
she has some fun pop songs but no major talent by any means...
She makes me shake my head
Well, Born This Way is a fantastic album, if you ask me.

There are no "bad" or "overproduced" songs in it, but some may sound alike - nevertheless, each has a unique meaning and purpose to be included in it. I, personally, give it a full 10/10, but, since I am a Little Monster myself, I wouldn't give less. Anyways, not every song is my "absolute favorite song of the year". "Hair" and "SchiBe" (even if Lady G has broken German) are the definite highlights, including, obviously, the best single of the year, "Born This Way" and the unique "Judas". "The Edge of Glory" is perfectly awesome with its smooth jazz influence, but a bit too repetitive. Let's put it clear - each of the fourteen songs is different. Each has a special meaning, I believe I said that before.

Here is my ratings of the fourteen tracks (as if I am not a Little Monster) from a non-Gaga-lover's objective:

1. Marry the Night - 7/10 - great, too repetitive, though

2. Born This Way - 10/10 - awesome, impressive

3. Government Hooker - 7/10 - too much beat

4. Judas - 8/10 - nice

5. Americano - 8/10 - needs something more

6. Hair - 9/10 - too much pop and sounds like "The Edge of Glory"

7. SchiBe - 10/10 - very unique

8. Bloody Mary - 6/10 - meh, reminds "The Fame", doesn't suit

9. Bad Kids - 6/10 - needs something more

10. Highway Unicorn (Road to Love) - 5/10 - too pop, too cheap, if you ask me

11. Heavy Metal Lover - 10/10 - just perfect

12. Electric Chapel - 7.5/10 - sounds too much like the above

13. You and I - 9/10 - great

14. The Edge of Glory - 8/10 - astonishing start and chorus, repetitive end

Which in total brings us to a 7.8/10 rating for the whole record, which means 8/10. And that's from the objective of a pure music fan.
Sorry, I listen to music with a meaning and purpose, not some scraggy ***** singing about meaningless bullshit.
0/10 i don't see what people think is so good about that attention whore.
