She stated she had begun work on her new studio album and already finished writing the core theme of it back in March (MTV). In June, she stated the album was finished but would not be released until 2011 (Rolling Stone). The only two confirmed songs from the album (by Gaga herself) are "Born This Way" and "You and I," a ballad she performed as part of her Monster Ball Tour set list.



Gaga, with Elton John, is planning to release a duet called "Hello, Hello" for the soundtrack to the forthcoming animated feature Gnomeo and Juliet. The film is due out February 11, 2011.
